Electroless Nickel

Armourcote 3600 is a highly effective corrosion resistant coating.

Electroless nickel is a process by which nickel is deposited from solution onto substrate by a chemical reaction without the use of electrolysis.

Benefits of electroless nickel

• Coating is deposited evenly over all surfaces.
• No edge build up
• Highly accurate surface deposit (± 1.5 micron) eliminates post grinding.
• As plated hardness of 480 - 550 Hv can be heat treated to increase hardness to a maximum 1100 Hv.
• Excellent corrosion resistance.
